Idk why people always seem to forget about Black Thought. Philly niggas stand up. Y’all always get left out of the conversation like some of the illest pens didn’t come from there.

If your craft (Lyricist) does not convert to you being secure and living the life you want to live how can you claim being better then someone who did what you couldn't? ? Niggas out here really thinking street titles mean something… SMH

Saying a bunch of syllables doesn't make you a better emcee..Hov is does entendres and codes his wording which makes him more clever than pap…jay also is better at concepts and creating timeless music….pap has technical ability but that's not all there is to an emcee or artist

Pap in his feelings for no reason? Jay dnt compare to who he mentioned as lyricists? C'mon man? Jay has Emulated those old school greats he named. He's playin tag wit jay (poke the bear). If he really thinks that hes not as bright as I thougjt he was. If he's teyna get Jay's attention Fine, I can deal wit that, but to say hes not even up to par with those names? He's playin the game

I'm a huge Pac fan, but did he really say that Pac was one of the greatest lyricists? It's not the lyrics when it comes to Pac, it's about the emotions and energy, his biography, his presence, his mindset and his values, but lyrics?

Papoose is one of my favourite rappers and a lyrical master. We just listen different. Dont be surprised at what he said. Dumb niggas listen to hooks and beats, and say shot like oh he told this many albums and she's got this many followers! So the fuck what?!!! What's that got to do with telling a cold ass story with slick metaphors, with a master delivery and a witty style? Some niggas hide behind the sick beat and some niggas actually help the beats. Few MC's. Or hard bars from few new Yorkers, few bay area kats, and pac.fuck that cat in the hat rap. Salute from Somalia

“There’s a difference between lyrical vs rhyming a whole bunch of words niggas ain’t really tryna listen to”
      -Murda mook

Papoose is nothing more than a multi syllable rhymer who uses big words to deceive the audience are you serious he doesn’t even compare to jay in terms of substance metaphorically yeah he has good song concepts & brilliant ideas but jay is the king of doing more with less he can literally give you multiple double entendres without excessively being ambiguous with his words people need to study the format of hip hop and actually understand how bars work that word play shit don’t work when you going head up with a MC that will punch your head off every 4 bars Cassidy in his prime would eat papoose easily if you’re not scheming using metaphors or idioms within your wordplay the bars will not land and papoose does not use any of those elements he’s usually rhyming with positive message to convey to the audience nothing nasty he’s not a technician lyrically stop gassing that shit. Without including jay z

      Eminem
      Lloyd Banks
      Cassidy
      Jadakiss
      Styles p
      Beanie sigel

Nas is the goat he is able to good songs with heavy substance. So is Jay and es both are better than pap. JayZ can rap like that if he wants to. A bunch of words non stop for 30secs but do we remember such songs after say 10years? Who listens to alphabetical slaughter today? Vs say a song like Brooklyn’s finest

It’s not just about who can rap. Who can make a good song and connect with people. Who wants to listen to a bunch of words said very fast that are dope rhymes yes but don’t connect with anybody ??‍♂️. Humility is key in life.
