Ace Freely could take advantage of those three pickups in his guitar putting the same six switches that Brian May have in his Red Special. Three on/off switches and down the other three in phase/out of phase switches.

Peter and Ace more relaxed but just. As talented if not more – huge similarity between the 2 and other 2. Ace is a star what guitar playing. And Paul is such a Capricorn so professional just gorgeous he is peters drumming wow
A slightly above average band with lots of gimmicks and stage effects. But there's no denying they were fun as shit.
Ace if f*cking blistering his way through those guitar solos – like he's always done ! Paul's guitar always sound different than Ace's – I know it's supposed to be like that, but I just wanted to point it out. :o)
They sounded this great until Peter and Ace quit about 5 to 6 years later. No version of KISS sounds like good – the original have a chemistry – when it comes to music – regardless of the other bullsh*t that has been. Their energy and feel for the music when they are together is bar none and when they 3 or all 4 sing together – it's fucking heaven, bc all their voices are completely different and sound in their own right.
Peter's ghost note swing funk beat in the verse parts are phenomenal in Dr. Love – ghost notes can certainly be a great part of Rock and Roll – you don't always have to come down with a solid straight forward drum stick drop in a rock or hard rock song ! Ace's low notes on his guitar solo at the beginning of the Dr Love solo are a great contrast to when he goes into the higher trebley notes in the guitar solo.
That's my boy Ace ! Peter's a close 2nd… hey, starting jamming and singing New York Groove and my eyes got sweaty ! There's something about that song and him and his voice singing it ! He's just incredible and such a great musician ! I love his f*cking vocals too – his singing is as down to earth, as he is !

I saw them in 77 for the first time and I was 11 years old and I tell you that I was blown away with what I was witnessing !! I left there being a rock fan for life !! They dont get the respect they deserve, sure they were not as musically talented as say LED-ZEPPELIN , Deep Purple and VAN HALEN but they were every bit as entertaining !!! For a young fellow like me who was wondering what it was all about …..I left the concert understanding that it was all about Partying, Pussy, Music and having a great time everyday of our lives !!
