"Better albums" lol Buddens worst album was his debut. Logic's best album was his debut. What does that say? One kept improving while the other one got complacent and complained about the backlash he got. Logic never made an album that was as soulful as All love lost.

Big fan of Budden and Logic here, but I think Joe is way better than Logic.
Flow: Logic takes it here, RA's right, Logic's flow is way more versatile.
Lyricism: There's really no argument, Joe raps circles around Logic anyday, Logic has some pretty cool lines here and there, but it's not comparable to Joe.
Albums: I think Joe also gets it here, Logic has great albums like Under Pressure, Incredibe True Story, YSIV, etc. But Joe's albums are better for me, Rage & The Machine, All Love Lost are great albums, but there's one main reason Joe's are better.
Substance: this is why Joe has better albums, that's not to say Logic has no substance, he definitely does, but Joe has talked about deep subjects throughout his whole career.
Beat Selection: Logic takes it, Joey has great beats too but Logic's are better.
Delivery: Joe wins it here by a landslide, his delivers with a lot of emotion, whereas Logic doesn't, and has the same delivery on most of his songs.

To me logic doesn't have his own style. Yeah he adopts different flows which can be considered a good thing, but I see it as he doesn't have a distinct style of his own. He emulates different rappers styles or whichever style is the in thing. There's no point you can listen to logics and think "this is the signature logic flow, delivery and style. Where as joe budden has his own distinct voice, flow and delivery that's all his own. He doesn't emulate other styles. He's very original in that sense. That's important for me in a rapper. Logic often sounds like a Knock off version of other rappers like j.cole, but he can definitely rap. Also buddens bars more potent to me, yeah he's bait as wordy, you don't always have to me, but he chooses his words more carefully an not just alway rhyming syllables for the sake of it. I'll take budden any day. Nothing wrong with a good rapper debate though. This hiphopdx channel annoys me. They love the bullshit. We all know what Twitter and the Internet is like, no mater what the subject is you will ALWAYS get people who react a certain way, Twitter is toxic. But you will also get some people who will respond and have a good debate about it. But these channels will focus on the toxicity of Twitter instead of anything that resembles a good healthy debate
If they disrespect RAs legacy, and/ or current status as a lyricist … then they loose credibility as a rap fan.

It's not that RA is wrong. Logic is focused more on technical rhymes and flows. His music is more structured and pop oriented. Joe is more lyric focused. That doesn't automatically make logic better though. Someone coUld say logic's lyrics are just that bad and joe's are just that good. Or that regardless of hooks or fast flows, his music is just overall better. Logic can make a burger with bacon and cheese, that doesn't mean it's better than the plain one joe made.

All My Heroes Are Dead is one of the best Rap albums ever. Definitely top 25, might crack your top 10. That album is dynamite!

RA's music was decent until he started doing the flippity dippity flow on every track. His first album from 04 and his unreleased from the 90s was not bad.
