I’m American and I’ve heard a couple of Octavian songs. I’m not really familiar with the style, but he’s different from a lot of the grime rappers I’ve heard. Unique at least even if it’s drastically different than original rap in the states

met him at glasto at beats hotel, his whole crew (essie) such a bunch of arrogant neeks. been a fan of his since the album essie. always hoped to meet him and have a humble conversation but instead he just tried to be as safe as possible and looked at me like he was so much better. sad
If anyone wants to know why the crowd wasn’t popping – it’s 2pm on a Sunday at Glastonbury (5th day of the festival) – everyone out late the night before (that means anything after 3am) during a heatwave festival. So it takes a while for people to get going. Also this tent is a trek from so many campsites, so that’s another factor. He’ll get a better slot next year though…
Wow, surprised at the size of the crowd for Ocatvian… he deserves way more ppl than that. Octavian is class…. hopefully next time he's at Glasto he gets more love :-/
