Pouring soy sauce directly onto the wok will cause the noodles to stick to the wok, losing precious "wok hei". You would also have to spend time more scrubbing burnt noodles off your wok during the clean up. Try pouring it directly onto the noodles instead!

I know Iam late to the party but i watched a ton of your videos the last two weeks and i was wondering what brand of soy sauce you use, or what tips you have to identify a good soy sauce. Iam not from the states and here in Germany its not so easy to find a wide variety of soy sauces for most people here soy sauce equals kikkoman.
Appreciate any tips and thanks for the awesome videos!

Where do you get your squeeze bottles? It seems ridiculous, but I've had trouble finding ones with threads that form a tight seal. Given even the lightest squeeze, liquid oozes out between the lid and body.
Where do I get that wok burner? I can't seem to find many online except for the Eastman. Is that the PowerFlamer?
