There’s no problem with the song at all. All he did was keep it real. Shit is fire too.
imagine trying to cancel the greatest rapper of our generation?♂️ our generation is softer than fuck?♂️
All you fake sellout "draconian lovers" need to stfu!!!!! He's speaking the "TRUTH" KOD
Ak drunk as hell on this Travis Scott topic
Im soryy wayno sounded very uneducated about uzi n yb especially yb yb was literally dropping every other day 2019 n beginning if this year n he has linked with artist he got 2 songs with lil baby n just linked with the biggest group in hip hop the migos n was number 1 every week on YouTube till he stopped dropping n uzi did disappear but when he dropped it was a big impact n everybody was listening to it n still is same with yb
Protest are meant so that people can get heard. These rappers (J Cole and Kendrick Lamar) put out records to let us get heard and have reached more people millions of people all around the word. They’ve done their form of protest when we were just listening to get lit music on the club so why are we mad at them for anything. People think their twitter fingers are more important than people who are operating in their purpose for their people? Um strange, I see the perspective but I can’t resonate with it.
If you’re reading this, I bet you’ll like my remix of Snow on tha Bluff. Go check it ??❤️
If u waiting on j to speak u one of the problems
WHERE IS BLACK JESUS AT THIS MOMENT?! I seen her tweet and immediately thought of jay z. He ain’t too big. Kanye out there. Where tf is that wanna be savior at…. sellout
thought all these yung dudes was pussi. Glad to see JCole display some honesty and balls.
ScreewTwitter if a celebrity writes some fake shit online about any struggle make me respect them less.
Ak just talk to hear himself talk
Wayno what about MONEYBAGG YO HE PUT THE WORK IN , INTERVIEWS ETC. AND HAD A WAY BETTER YEAR THAN TRAVIS SCOTT MUSIC WISE .
ITS NO WAY IN HELL TRAVIS SCOTT SHOULD OF BEEN NOMINATED before a few artists.
Vert, Moneybagg deserve it more th
Twitter is full of followers(no pun intended) they hear one thing and they go with it, j Cole is looking at the positive side of things and he spoke on things for kids in the future, I suggest everyone to really listen to the song and be open minded
Why did he respond? No name didn't mention his name. only a hit dog will holler.
I think Ak is actually right about Uzi and Travis not having the same demographic. Never seen a fan of one mention the other… EVER
Ak had some valid points but he was to over the place and didn’t explain it well , their fanbases do overlap but older people don’t listen to uzi , they do w Travis , and tbh not many bigger musical artists do interviews anymore, you’ll see a breakfast club occasionally but not others
Wtf y’all didn’t talk about A Boogie is he not relevant enough to to speak on this whole debate was bad y’all made horrible points ??♂️
Wayno was spot on. When your actually in the music industry you know that their is alto of things that happen behind closed doors to decide which artistes they do nominate.
I believe that lil Uzi vert and A boogie should at least have got nominations. But things are never what you think they are, music is a business as well as an art form.
If you don’t have a Twitter than you probably aren’t aware that people are hating on Cole… I just saw he dropped a song and enjoyed it and moved on with my life
The “people” have more power than the people in positions of power.. we just have to realize it.. and I think we kinda already know
J.cole is a ?
I loved the record, love J Cole. He’s an activist for original and real black people.
J Cole is disappointing. Don't wanna hear 1 mo line about black issues.
How are they covering hip hop stuff but are so uninformed to realize this song was a response to a general tweet ? He was honest about being in his muthafuckin feelings about a girl challenging rappers to raise their voices .
I’m glad J. Coles not a clone like the rest of em
LUV IS RAGE 2 GOT nominated you guys gotta open Wikipedia once in a while. He has moon mans as well
Ayo this episode made me dislike Wayno a bit when we got to Uzi & NBA
Akademiks your issue is that you suffer severely from the Dunning-Kruger Effect, particularly as it pertains to discourse relating to politics. And you REPEAT the propaganda you hear that originates from the illegitmate power structure who's goal is to continue systematic oppression of black people, and you irresponsibly recite what you hear from mainstream media without taking the time out to at least TEST the propaganda with the most basic level of critical analysis. E.G. "cops are only trained to use deadly force…" , this is a false statement intrinsically based on the fact that the overwhelming majority of cops in America never even use their service weapon, hence most cops don't use deadly force, hence majority of cops' interactions with the public is NON-deadly, cops with non-deadly interactions where in fact trained by the police academy, therefore the logical conclusion can be made that the statement "cops are only trained to use deadly force (when using gun or otherwise…)" is a false statement. And If the statement implies that cops are trained to only use deadly force in the event that they use their service weapon, the idea STILL falls apart because it implies that firing non-lethal leg shot is humanly impossible, this is FALSE, particularly when the cop was 10 to 15 feet away. If you've ever been to the gun range, even novice shooters can successfully hit the head of a target multiple times per round of shooting, cops are at least intermediate-expert shooters because of their required training, therefore they are more proficient at hitting the head of a target… and if a shooter can aim and successfully hit the head or even torso from a distance, then the same shooter possesses the ability to aim at the suspects lower extremities including the buttocks down to his feet. The lower extremities are not HARDER to hit than a head shot, this is a fact based on significantly more surface area being available in the lower body. Then you use the excuse of speaking "objectively" when referring to the DUI laws and how those laws are enforced, and that the cops were justified in taking brooks into custody, you are speaking from the perspective of someone who is unwilling to acknowledge that the power structure's laws are illegitimate in the first damn place. You are either consciously or unconsciously aligned with the oppressive system's unjust laws… while brothers like me who grew up in poor section of Chicago in the 1990's where corruption was all time high, I am consciously UN-aligned with the power structure's unjust laws and unjust social order, and THIS IS THE POSITION OF THE Foundational Black Americans , and this is the ESSENCE of Hip Hop culture in its rawest form… FUCK THE LAW, because its CLEARLY DESIGNED TO TARGET AND SABOTAGE US and EXPLOIT niggaz for monetary gain… the DUI LAW SHOULD AND WILL BE: TAKE THE DUI SUSPECT'S KEYS, make him walk home if he's already responsible enough to park, PERIOD… We don't FOLLOW LAWS OR RULES that don't make sense, and we don't FOLLOW LAWS that are used in confluence with public policy to block us from surviving economically or otherwise. Study some of the Chicago mobz literature, we got our own laws and the literature addresses political endeavors in response to an unjust tyrannical system… you got rich off of chiraq videos, you focus all your attention of the reckless killing by the young guys, and you are too lazy to study how Chicago organizations where historically structured and how they were public allies with the Black Panther Party and other political organizations that were focused on justice by any means. The "killers" you highlight in your videos are REQUIRED to know their literature and history once they hit prison… Nigga you are financially gaining from Hip Hop, and you are aligned with the system, you never had to do crime, never were in the streets, you agree with laws without questioning them, you are not radical in any sense of the word, you don't really care about politics though everything political involves FBA because we built the wealth that allows for politics to take place with any group on any level and we're the bottom caste that keeps the status quo intact… Nigga, you's a culture vulture, and you a lazy ass nigga that only comments on the surface of given topics, you are presented as an analyst but you don't analyze on a deep level at all. So just stop commenting on events with FBA, we will take power back in time, and we will keep note of all you culture vultures eating off our labor and our culture. You in the same category as Vlad at this point
Someone get wayno off the show, or just give ak his own show
I’m a big uzi fan and I agree with dj. Uzi doesn’t get to credit he deserves because he’s not for everybody, older people don’t listen to uzi. Uzi now he certified himself as a tier 1 rapper. He’s up there with drake, Travis, Kendrick and meek. Uzi this year is better than all of them combined. I’m sorry to polo g, lil baby or whatever your fav rapper is but uzi carrying 2020 on his back and no one in his shadows. No disrespect to polo or a boogie or lilbaby
En Vintervell Va Dorno naw people wanna be followers just look at how unorganized the protest is tell me exactly who the leaders are? The fact that people would rather look for leadership and hope on twitter/ig then in themselves says alot about the world we live in.
U have it all wrong. I agree with Noname.
1) this is an unprecedented time in history where we must rise to the occasion and creatively use every platform to fuel the movement to bring real change.
2) if you have influence use your voice to move others into action versus just showing up as an individual to a rally
3) getting up to speed is your own personal responsibility. Everyone (especially a college grad) can Google and read a couple hours or watch YouTube videos hell on their own to get up to speed.
4) J. Cole agrees himself in the song that, " I feel guilty cause, I'm not doing enough."
This episode funny asf??
Uzi went to the BET awards in 2016 when he got nominated
Wtf is akademics talking Uzi got big features too you probably dont like travis travis wey better than uzi remove autotune still better
