Y'all got to consider inspectah deck lost his first hole solo album when Reza had a flood in his spot he was deeply hurt by that that album must have been absolutely fire 1 floppy disk that got messed up due to the flood oh, that's why I always try to make copies of my shit right off the top and throw them in a fire safe that way if something gets fucked up I got back up extra! Would have loved to hear the raw essence of respect the deck first solo joint

Almost like wutang was just a stepping stone for the members to do their solo projects eventually anyway.

I'm sure they all knew what he is mentioning but you know how the "Divide and Conquer" concept works. It's power in numbers, which than you unite and takeover that's what WU has.

the second i saw a wu solo album bk in the day despite them being classics i was like yo this is the beginning of the fall of the wu!
real talk..they diluted the wu and then seperated themselves yet their strength lied in their brotherhood..

Rae got a point. Once you start cutting up the work snd stretching it out in an effort to make more money, it wont hit the same in the long run. #chefproblems

It’d be pretty much impossible to have 9 people in a group and keep everybody happy. Even if they decided as a group not to go solo, the more popular members would see how much money they could be making by doing their own thing.

Meth took his skills of rhyme and acting and used it to build his own brand and he did that and still screamed wu so he didn't play none of y'all and truth be told a lot of cats in the wu had bad work ethics …no

I think they should have made at least 3 to 5 straight Wu albums before doing solos. That might would have built a better foundation as a group and focus on brand development.

It was the others like killa army, priest etc… They got the freshest rza beats but hadn't paid dues… Luv killa priest project but still, the wu needed the push.

Totally understand what he’s saying but basically all the albums from 36 chambers to Wu-Tang forever was wu albums because everybody was on it.

Maybe they could of marketed the albums something like “wu-tang clan the 9th chamber – Ghostface Killah Ironman. Something along those lines with all the solo albums give each member a chamber for their album along with their album names.

So it still would of been under the wu name and gave them their own individuality.

Also I feel like they rushed the wu tang forever album and that hurt the brand. They should of put every solo member album out then came out with the wu-tang forever album.

Because you would of had the chance to hear them from 36 chambers as a group in 1993, like yoo who are these dudes with all these different styles.

Then u would of had a chance to hear all 10 members solo albums individually, see and hear their individuality. Then come back with the wu tang forever album just to hear how they grew and remember how good they are collectively
