What’s the deal with Chevy Chase?? I don’t have any context and that exchange felt weird kinda. Or am i reading too deeply into it?
People keep missing the point of 45, he is enabled by who.Y'all literally just said it earlier that you want the racist people to be famous rt?!? He's literally had them coming out of the wood making them Famous, making them feel okay with outing themselves. It's like y'all said, we know how to survive what's going on so pay attention to more than 45 don't just focus on him. You should be taking note of the people who are supporting and enabling him.
Knowing that Talib is a Community fan made me buy some more of his albums lol
She’s amazing. Great interview
She's so adorable and a voice truly needed for these times.
She's awesome ?
This episode is a gem!!
"Legal secretary by trade, and McDonald's is always hiring" ??????????????
Might be my favorite two people who I don't personally know after this interview. Y'all are fighting the good fight. I appreciate you both.
Talib with the 716 hat on, salute!
That is NOT my job.
The point Jasmine made about folks being authentic is too true. What that comment made me think of is on Instagram when I see someone I am following posting an #ad product, I try my best to scroll past it. I get folks are trying to get money but that comes off as corny to me. I like seeing folks being themselves without a corporation hovering over them.
I love #community
Another great and informative conversation. ??????❤️
Talib Kweli this is probably one of your best interviews ever! It felt like just sitting at the crib with friends naturally talking, sharing, teaching, learning, pondering, challenging, exploring, etc. You set the bar high on this one sir. Yvette Nicole Brown is a very smart woman. My nugget from this interview was live beneath your means. Powerful and simple illustration. Thanks for a great conversation!
Hey E.C. reppin !
I wonder did she go to Shaw ?
Much love Sis!
So basically, vote for more clever racists.
Another gem of great journalism from the Brooklyn Embassy
I was not expecting to be moved and inspired to heavenly heights but now I am such a Yvette Nicole Brown fan and lover!
Love it OH10 all day…..
I think the ADOS lady Yvette is a fraud too but the actual movement and the purpose is definitely on point. Most of the people saying reparations is stupid are the black immigrants because they dont fit into the fight. So it's up to those immigrants to support us not vice versa. If they dont support why would we want to associate with them? I agree we shouldnt choose sides but you cant be one sided at recognizing the divide. Besides that I love these two. Community was one of the best shows I ever watched and I'm as black as they come.
I clicked on a youtube link from some MaryN lady talib sleeps with, and it brought me here, hella weird
Damn, she is looking good.
#AdosIsMagaTrash
Shout out to all the Bills fans
Dude…..love ur work. Yvette….love u.
How are you trying to denigrate a movement, with No alternative in place. "YNB Gone somewhere you don't know enough"!
~Yvette Carnell
OHIO STAND UP!!! From C-Land to the Nasty ‘Nati!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Uproxx team for this episode. This woman is straight fire. I loved watching how she governs herself through life. Much respect to you Ms. Brown.
Yvette Nicole Brown is one of the most hard-working actresses in Hollywood give this woman the recognition she deserves in film and television!!!!!
Love the show but that Jasmine is CORNY AF! So irritating.
Love Talib though.
Love Her???????????????
this rascist BITCH
Yet again, more reason for me to love YNB. I became aware of her in The Mayor. She is brilliant when she fills in on The View, but after watching this interview a prolific creative. Thank you People's Party for another great interview.
All American one of the best shows and it's like Friday night lights
Man I LOVE your show – and this was amazing! Yvette NIcole Brown is the truth. Just a pleasure to listen to good people, who like and respect each other, have an intelligent conversation.
I See You With Buffalo Bills Hat Talib ‼️
What she is saying about the midwest is so true. You know where you stand with everyone, you know who likes you and who doesn't… and I definitely concur, you don't even have to like someone to work well with them!
Great Interview! I'm a bit biased because I just LOVE Yvette! She's so beautiful, intelligent, geeky and interesting! Plus she's from The Land! She shines brightly here. Thanks for this!
What was that awkward part with Chevy chase about??
41:35. She’s lying. Watch, time will tell.
I watched this show faithfully and absolutely loved Shirley. You are a real one, Miss Yvette. God bless you and yours.
I see Talib wit the #BuffaloBills fitted!!! ????? #GxFR ?⚖?⚖
Great talk??
Dope interview. Yvette definitely has a new fan right here
Love this show! Normally don't listen to podcasts but this is amazing. Love that Jasmine's getting more and more comfortable in her role in this and participating more, you can see the growth going on. Keep it up!

Rock the bell daily and I'm locked in to join the party let's go…
I listen while I work but I had to stop working to write a comment. I always knew Yvette was a decent individual but she really tells it like it is while being wholesome as heck and I envy her. Fame is a mist, materialism is trash and people need to vote! Love it, she is such an inspiration <3
