The best
Such an underrated song… Loved apeksha's voice
Such an underrated gem! ??
❤️❤️❤️
The initial part is adapted from Bade Ghulam Ali : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCU-zLTWEvE&list=PLLsBaBwmwxSWsLTH-NQ93EF5LMAUq0HAF&index=8
Why is Karsh Kaale sooooo underrated ???
This song actually sounds like a translation of this song 'tum ho bas mere' from Karthik Calling Karthik..
I listened to Aerosmith – Dream On, Eminem – Sing for the moment and then remembered this song – its got very similar feel….
Lo+ve from Dhaka
Apeksha has nailed it…such a tough song to sing!
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karsh_Kale
Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sahab ki rooh bhi jhoom rahi ho gi. Excellent
OMG!
Wow the sing is magic
… great combination of singers… amazing start and continues till the end…
This song gets your body loose itself and start to move through the rhythm…Lovely…
Why is the initial urdu/hindi part so short?
what is Pakistan coke studio is it that famous since lots of comments are about their LOV
apeksha not able to do justice. weak singing. if somebody want classical genre in modern singers than do listen madhubanti bagchi in rooftop concert where she has sang jochona koreche ari sang by ghazal queen begum akhtar
Argentina los saluda … Salud
Awesome benny and Apeksha ..
No way near to pakistani version….atlest give respect to some old bandish….first of all engliah treatment by benny and top of it rap …really crap and very bad treatment to old classical bandish…guya grow up and respect music…dnt put ur crap to respected songs and dnt attempt if u cn not live upto the expectations
pre recorded.. auto tuned… fake.. ?
Ekto jis gaaney k views zyada honey chahye, unkey hotey nahi.
Simply brilliant.
which raag is the song based on?
you are bad
IIRC, the thumri is 'Naina More Taras Rahe' not 'Taras Gaye'. Anyway, the fusion between such starkly contrasting styles of music was refreshing and enjoyable. Apeksha is without a doubt is very versatile and adapted to both styles commendably (her vibrato was a bit forced at times though). That being said, the English lyrics and the rap verse were horrendously bad.
Whoever sung the English lines was as useless as "ueue "in "q"ueue.
would have been better without the english part..
Ending part similar to Babe I'm gonna leave you of Led Zep
beauty….
the buildup at 3:49 to mandeep!! ? ?
This Classic is Spiritual
♥.♥ omg i like this feeling @;——
the moment she said peekaboo i fell of her AND obviously its Karsh sir so no doubt an amazing composition
Awesome… 🙂
Seamless transition from Indian singing style to western style. Impressed.
Don't rap again benny :3
Alright. Being a Pakistani one should carefully listen to all Coke Studio India songs, and than comment (Since it is hard to swallow anything critical from another nation:-). These were the best ones that I like:
— Peekaboo-Karsh Kale (everything good except the damn rappers and English lyrics are annoying)
— Dilruba-Kailash (flawless)
— Dinae Dinae- Papon (flawless)
— Tauba- Papon (flawless)
— Yaar Basainda-Saint Thyagaraaja (everything good, though male singing could be improved)
— Hoo-Harshdeep Kaur (everything good except the vocals are a bit too echoed)
— Mauj Naina (flawless)
— Husna-Hitesh Sonik (flawless)
— Khwajababa-Shaantanu Moitra (flawless)
— Khumaar-Papon (flawless)
— Tokari-Papon (flawless)
Based on the Coke Studio India songs alone, I think Papon is the most gifted musician. Coke Studio India should let him take control 🙂
Do share your favourites from Coke Studio Pakistan.
Keep up the good work.
Love from a Lahori 🙂
beautiful and genuine fusion.. it maintains the essence of classical without corrupting it and blends into pop.. Awesome instrumentals..
it was nice..
