Mad season was the last ditch effort at saving Layne. So sad for all who tried to have failed

This is FAKE. And if you can't tell, you don't deserve to know any Alice in Chains.

Naming my son after him was one of the best decisions I've ever made other than getting clean of heroin.

I’m not gonna lie, I thought back then some of AIC’s songs was from nirvana, this rooster and would since they sounded so similar for me. Just discovered another great band

They were the most orchestral, most symphonic of the grunge acts in the 1990s. And this is the performance of their best song that wasn’t on an official studio EP or LP.

People say technical ability disappeared in popular music from the 1980s to the 1990s. The technical ability just switched from the guitarists to the drummers. 1990s drummers were beasts.

The drumming, the voice, the guitar

The blending and timing. This is what you would call a great live performance

I was lucky enough to see AIC in 1991 – 1st support of two for Megadeth – they turned everyones head that night

Anyone else get goosebumps when they see and hear Layne,?!! I don’t know what it is but he has that effect. Especially when he comes walking out during ‘Nutshell’ and the crowd gets louder with cheers, just amazing!!

I’ve been hooked on Layne and AIC since ‘93. Jerry and Layne’s harmonizing will always be the staple in their music.
