Epic
I ❤ Jack Nicholson
So what? Where is the transformation scene? This ain’t a transformation scene… Joker felt into the acid barrel, and than? What? At least, show the whole of this scene with transformation…Jack felt into, than cut…are we an oracle to guess what happened to him after all? Where is the Joker?
Jack Nicholson saved this ridiculous movie
1989: 'We'll create The Joker by having him fall in to chemicals'
2019: 'We'll create The Joker by just letting society do what it does to people'
the same set as 'Aliens' (1986)
Or more accurately titled as "everything except the transformation scene"
Maintenant je comprend mieux les références de Birds of Prey & Suicide Squad
People underrate just how important Keaton's role was his Batman is stoic, quiet and a maniac just not homicidal Nicholson plays off that as the first great joker.
To think everyone thought Michael Keaton was going to be a terrible Batman. Boy were we wrong!
I think this movie is classic.
Pat Hingle was a great Commissioner Gordon don't get me wrong. But I feel as though Gary Oldman did a lot more with the character. I'm looking forward to seeing Jeffrey Wright portrayal of the Commissioner
Still think this movie is unsurpassed, even by the Nolan's trilogy…
I know that one of jokers main origins is him falling into chemicals in a factory but I’ve noticed that a lot of fight scenes happen in a factory in 80s and 90s movies
Best batman movie in my opinion. Keaton and bale are best batmans for sure. Hard to beat them both
True master Jack Nicholson.
In the 90s, these were the films that I saw. Love for Batman.

The way Keaton/Batman moves in this scene is incredible. He isn't very physical, he just sort of glides from place to place, taking out criminals. He definitely gives Batman a supernatural flair that was missing in later films.
I hated every Batman movie up until the Nolan trilogy. They were all so cheesy. Like children's shows, you just couldn't take them seriously.
I enjoyed the gritty realism from Nolan's trilogy and the brutality of Affleck's Batman.
As for the Joker himself, I much prefer the origin story from The Joker with Joaquin Pheonix, rather than a generic crook gets dropped into a random vat of chemicals.
Fun fact this is the same set from James Camerons Aliens. By the looks of it when the marines enter the nest
2:10 Batman The Animated Series opening
ya i feel like i am in trouble right now but i think the democrats are going to bury me at a mental asylum
0:56 – how many times the cop says "freeze" and the gangsters don't shoot the cop? "Freeze" only works if the gangsters is outnumbered.
I first heard the music from the Lego games and it’s giving me so much nostalgia :,)
Jack Nicholson, heath ledger and Joaquin phoenix are all the greatest cinematic jokers ever. all of them unique and amazing.
My appreciation of Michael Keaton portrayal of batman has increased over the years.
jack would've been a great mobster
like if you agree.

This is probably still the closest to the bulk of the comic source material that any batman film has gotten, I love Tim Burtons aesthetic, gave Gotham a very unique feel, not that it was just another New York or Chicago.
2:11 Batman appears
Goon #1: OHMYGODITSAGIANTBATIMGETTINOUTTAHERE!
Goon #2: Neato! A new friend! Lemme shoot it!
Batman (to Goon #1): I'll be back for you at 3:15
Hands-down best Batman and Joker.
Loved this when I was a kid.
"We've been ratted out here, boys… watch it."
Jack Napier created Batman, in return Bruce Wayne created Joker
always liked how in these batman kind of stalked his victims…..appearing when you least expect it
At 3:55 I love how you can see the cable holding him but they incorporated it into his suit as a grapple. That’s really genius
Great scene but the cops look very old
3:54 look above batman i hate that i saw the wire
Batman’s Face at 4:25
4:24 Nice Outfit!!
