Just terrible my friend Jake met in high school lived in NYCHA & did deep house lounge music & hated the mold,leeks & all of it. He lives in Utah now & still has asthma for what NYCHA did to him.
I work in nycha. Nycha is broke. Mayor debalsio just put new windows in Apts, that didnt need fixing. He just gave nycha residents $700 ACs,he just filled up one of his donors pocket with money with these AC contracts. The money is being mis handled. You got nycha caretakers with no screws and other tools,no funding at all. Another thing is you have numerous residents in nycha that haven't paid rent in years. Takes them numerous times in court and years to kick out people not paying rent. Some of the rent is as low as $200.00 and welfare gives you money for rent but some people just have a drug or alcohol habit and waste all the rent money on that. I seen a 3 adult family with $400 rent a month with expensive clothes and nicer car than mine and they got evicted. They didn't pay rent in 3-5 years?. The outfits and the monthly payments were surpassed $400 a month for a 3 bedroom apt in nyc. I don't see how 3 adults couldn't get $133 a month each,but somehow afford hundreds of dollar outfits and brand new cars. People scaming the nycha system and other residents are paying for it.
