Inflation of rappers has caused an increase in strict contract policies with an emphasis on the distribution of finance. If you do not have the right lawyers or the right knowledge, you WILL be taken advantage of. On a contract, 50k sounds good right now, but imagine being worth 500k in the next 3 years, but the label still pays you 50k because of zero accolades & royalties. And more important, not getting the right lawyers.
