This generation of music has lost that creativity. Thank you!
AND YOU ON POINT WITH THE FUNCADELIC FACTS DOGG . WORD IM WITH IT
BRANDMAN IS MY SHIT !
As a music producer, vocalist and animator, I'm developing different characters to represent me and people work with or are part of the story I want to tell
Eddie hazel, the groups most prominent guitarist, is probably the greatest guitarist of all time. His playing was simply beyond what any other can do, in a soulful not a technical way.
That cartoon stuff is wild, makes the whole larger than life thing infectious for a fan; hyper-reality stuff mythologizes an artist. You should relate that to what newer artists like Uzi, Pump, Yachty, Ski Mask and even X (rip) are able to do by tapping into their anime influences. Kids today see them as superheroes, more than just musicians.
have to trademark that outro!
You’ve been away shooting all this badman content, innit? BadmanSean, ily ?
Also shout out to my g Jimi Hendrix. One of the reasons why i picked up the guitar at 13 ??
Funny I was listening to them random this morning..they were originators ..mad experimental talented genius
Boosty Collins ????
I just found your videos the other day and I really love your content. You're clearly very knowledgeable. As a new artist it's great to finally find someone giving relevant information. Just one minor point though, I wouldn't say Kirk Franklin created modern Gospel music. If anything I'd say that was Andrae Crouch. He was doing very contemporary Gospel since the 70s and 80s and you can find music by him from that time clearly inspired by the funk Era. Kirk represents that for a newer generation
This one hit home. One of my greatest influences. Love this new take/throwback
#facts
This takes so much pressure off me to be "original" and "never-before-seen". Everything under the sun has been done! So I'll do it my way.
I love that you’re not only a marketer, but also a music historian!
You should talk about the long standing band Su-Ra. Probably one of the most influential indie abands ever, and they have been making music since the thirties I believe.
I love the Funkadelic and Sun Ra. Maggot Brain is probably the best guitar solo in history. The story is very emotional and I cry every time I hear it.
Now we see where the "Gorillaz" get there Art anime style from kinda
Thank you. This brought tears to my Eyes
BOW wassup everybody is brandman sean
