Am I one of the few people who doesnt care that apple didnt include a charger? I either plug my ip12 into my laptop or a charger block from anker that I own that uses usb c so it works with any phone I have.

FYI , Xiaomi also sells a version of mi 11 with charger at same price with the one without. Hence you have the choice depending on whether u need a charger or not.

I love how all the main tech brands made fun of apple for removing the jack. Then apple made 8 billons selling airpods. Then all the brands silently removed the jack and presented their own buds.

Maybe apple is late against android in terms of features but when it comes to moving forward is market, apple is the leader.
I've seen a comment that, maybe having the charger in a separate box (like why would anyone bother with the no charger version if it didn't give any discount?) is indeed more eco friendly.
It might be 2 packages but overall utilize space better because the charger doesn't have to take up the whole layer of the phone case. (I mean, phones just doesn't come with ear pods nowadays and thus the whole layer is usually exclusively for the charger.)
I'd say it's still a dumb marketing strategy non the less. They could have provide a discount for those who doesn't need a charger, be it small or huge, and that would become a very successful marketing campaign.

Xiomi has given its customers two options and that is if u wanna take a charger then it will be provided to u free of cost but u dont want a charger then they will provide u only phone( not charger). But apple has not given this option, Apple has completely removed it, if someone need a charger then they have to buy it. So Xiomi is way better than apple in this regard.
