Very underrated movie
So much CGI, yet The fellowship of the ring tramples all three movies from this trillogy
They did a fantastic job of making this trilogy look more consistent with LOTR, less vibrant in some scenes, more vibrant in others
on the other hand lotr looks dead and grey, should have left it alone
It should title : Desolation Dragon. Rather than Desolation Smaug ??

I love both THe Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. But I was a wee lad when The Hobbit movies came out and I love them more than LOTR. LOTR is still superior, but The Hobbit is a treasure to me.
The Hobbit movies are definitely far less consistent than the original LOTR trilogy, but with time, I’ve learned to accept that they’re imperfect and have enjoyed them much more in recent years. They might be sloppy, but they’ve got soul. Hyped for this re-release!
