Mariah Carry, Aaliyah , Janet Jackson, Tamia, Christiana Agularia, Brittany Spears, Brandy, Monica, Whitney Houston, Tracie Spencer, Lauren Hill, Erykuh Badu etc. The list just keeps goin' on, n on.
Even the early-early 2000s was stacked. With Alicia Keys, Ashanti, etc.
Ashanti gave Beyonce a run 4 her money when Beyonce first released her first solo album by the way.
Anyways, No way all the members of Destiny's child would had made it far as Solo Artists that far through that. Especially when the masses was hard on them artists.
And destinys child did become popular, but not high until mid late 1999.
During 1999 however the masses was still hard on TLC, Blaque, SWV etc
