I actually live in Frankfort, KY, and have lived in the state since 1993. I recall people talking about Cameron back in the day that were worried about him because they interacted with him and recognized he was most likely going to gain political office. They were worried because he largely is McConnell's protege (and received a scholarship he pork bellied) and tows that line. As such, he will not benefit the poor as AG, he will not benefit minorities, he will obfuscate anything that makes the Republican party line look weak like bad cops and malicious execution of search warrants. He will, soonish, start efforts to restrict voting rights as soon as he can get away with it.
