NRBQ = the New Rhythm and Blues Quintet
So awesome. I love when something like that happens. It's an amazing feeling that only us true crazy music collectors know.
gods of vinyl yes ive thanked them too lol
Mashmakhan is a Canadian band from Montreal in the 70s saw them live once great band had a radio hit " As the years go by" very cool song
great finds lots of fun to watch your vids been watching you for awhile don Vancouver Island Canada
Check this book Acid Archives by Patrick Lundborg, you will find more information about rare gems of psychedelia and acid rock in USA and Canada during 1965-1982
Blue Cheer is golden.
Charley D & Milo are a country/pop band. I do like the song "Om Sweet Om". The rest is okay. They do a decent cover of the Bob Dylan song "I'll Keep It With Mine"
The "Cupid's Inspiration" album sounds like The Grass Roots, especially the title track "Yesterday Has Gone"
"Notes From The Underground" album came out in 1968. They sound a little like Canned Heat & earlier Lovin' Spoonful, I would consider them more bluesy/pop,
According to Discogs "The Savage Rose" is a Danish Prog/Rock band. That particular album you got was released in 1970. The song "The Waters Run Deep" is more spiritual sounding than the rest of the album. The female lead singer is pretty good, her name is "Annisette". Love your channel
Wow Blue Cheer I've been looking for their lp for ages, your lucky man
How fun, it’s what we all dream about, couldn’t happen to a better guy.
new revival blues quartet?
I few artists are unknown to me up till blue Cheer. When I heard heard court of the crimson king I scared me. I first heard it when I was about 15 and it creeped me out!
4 months later enjoyed watching your find i guess u have listened to most nearly all the music is on utube trapeze were a amazing band and the comfortable chair great album really was the golden era sadly times have changed but there is still some great bands today . Wow! pawn shops around my neck of the woods have common garbage that is way overpriced & beat to crap at that.
Mamma mia, molto belli! Ciao mio amico.
That's the best haul I've ever seen from a pawn shop or thrift store.
I am so happy you are back! This makes my day!! ????
Also the holes mean they were promo’s
The cuts mean they are promo’s
Your finds are downright serendipitous. Ummm, do you really need 2 copies of that Blue Cheer lp? No. You know it. 😉
Mind Blown!
I definitely would have bought that Buffalo Springfield Again. Those are original pressings you've got there. Very unusual find, maybe the find of a lifetime! I believe NRBQ evolved from the Wildweeds, who had that great hit with "No Good To Cry" back around '67. Ah Blue Mink. When I was in high school around '72 they had a big radio hit with "Our World". I bought thet 45 and to this day still love that song. Really shoulda been a bigger hit. They were more popular overseas. It was power pop! This was a fun video. Happy Listening.
Incredible score!!
Great video and lucky finds!
Priceless ! Had this hanging on my Bedroom wall growing up. Found another album cover in a Thrift Shop w/out the LP – too bad. Thanks much.
Savage Rose is a hugely succesful Danish psych/rock band from the 70`s. Their vocalist Anisette is fenomenal. And they are still touring again. Good find !
✌ ?
Man, they weren't messing around with those corner cuts! Must have been a blast finding these! Always good to upgrade on Vanilla fudge. Wow,I never heard of The Millenium. Pretty amazing that It and the blue cheer album are the same year! And aw man you found may blitz!!… I paid like 50 bucks for a barley vg+ copy on discogs….Killer band
Wow. You got some killer records there my friend!!!!! Fantastic finds at the own shop.
If anyone deserves to find records from the gods it would be you
Blue Cheer!!
Oh my friend, you scored a lot of great finds! You hit the thrift store at exactly the right moment…. (I should be so lucky!!!) Good for you! I like those Liberty Label LP's and all the others. My brother and I had that Flock LP – I think they were/are Danish… have that Millennium on CD-R – it's a great LP. Blue Cheer – first pressing – nice! I don't see that Buffalo Springfield album around much these days. And Surrealistic Pillow is one of the best rock albums of all time (but you already know that!!!) Never saw that Trapeze LP before. – or that Charlie D & Milo or that Lazarus or that Notes from the Underground LP. I'll have to get busy searching. Thanks!
G’day great find of New York Dolls and King Crimson your sounds great a voice any radio station work peace to you
Notes from the Underground..Great!
