Jazz fan Question – Can the Lakers really make the trades or free agent acquisitions to become good enough to be a dangerous team? Do they have the financial ability? Or can they cut current players to acquire the players the "media" is saying they should sign?

We are the smartest team in the NBA. We have the smartest players and coaches. The reads and the adjustments on both ends is really what makes us as good as we are. We are three or four steps ahead of our opponents.
David is right regarding seeding. Jazz will get the #1 if they stay healthy, however, the Lakers could fall pretty damn far especially if AD is out for another month or more. It’s not unrealistic that we could even see them in the first round as an 8 seed, which would suck if AD was back.
