People over here criticizing him for not showing his neighborhood…? What if he still has family and friends in his neighborhood and he doesn't want to make them targets? And Detroit is a big city. I believe Sean lived in the University District or not far from there. The closer you get to 8 mile, the more residential it gets. Not much to see because everything is car-dependent. The mall you hang out at is 20 mins from your house, your favorite hang out spot is outside the "neighborhood" which could be a 5 to 10 min drive. Outside of the heart of the city, there's not much to see besides his house which he clearly didn't want to show. When I was in middle school, I hung out in the neighborhood but after I started high school, I never was in my neighborhood. When I got a car, I was NEVER in my neighborhood.

This brings me back a few years ago when I would always go see the Red Wings play and occasionally see the Tigers at Comerica Park ? I still go to Detroit quite often with my family, as live close to Detroit, and it’s interesting to see how much has changed over time from my childhood and now. Both of my parents work in Detroit, it’s a very interesting place

So have your "Blackfest" regarding Detroit. Detroit is a Black controlled city and is a national disgrace. It is a direct reflection of the Black community that has lived there. Detroit was always a melting pot city with great communities. Probably the only redeemable school in the whole city is Cass Tech. Really surprised they haven't trashed that school.
Detroit is a moonscape compared to when I lived there. Rap about that.
