With the recent change in YouTube policies, K-Pop compilations will become a thing of the past. A part of history. History that did help K-Pop become what it is …

EDIT: Just to be clear, the Reactors (K-Pop 4 Life & K!Junkies) featured here are ones I respect and wanted to showcase as some great and genuine Reactors out there that are in it for the passion and not the views. 🙂

Hey friends! Special thanks to all the K-Pop YouTubers for giving their insight for this video. 2019 has certainly been an interesting year, and it's sad that the compilation style of YouTube content will now sort of become a thing of the past. Let's see how things go! Thank you all for the support over the years! I'll still continue my voiceover work for sure. 🙂

One thing I wish large reaction channels would do is something like an "underrated artist of the day" thing after their reactions with just a few seconds of a song and a link to the video in the description. I think that would be a wonderful thing. They're still getting the traffic they need for their channel to survive but they're also helping out the small groups who don't have much exposure.. just a thought

YouTube claim and copyright system is, well, bad, sure the content belongs to it's creators, but the research, editing, hard work and effort, time, opinion that youtuber makesx not to mention promotion is not taken into account, if video is claimed they take all. I understand if the idols or music is portrayed in bad light and blatant low effort copyers or reactors.

It especially sucks when youtuber's who adds high quality value via editing, opinion or other way video is claimed by one instance to as low as 3 second audio from a music video, movie or anything that is copyrighted.

I respect and understand creators artwork, but taking all from youtuber's via current system is unfair in my humble opinion

I'm really getting tired of YouTube getting increasingly more strict with everything. I understand if content is offensive to a group of people be it for sexual references, dangerous stunts, excessive use of vulgar language, etc. Compilation videos are an extremely important part of the kpop community and how I have found all of my underrated artists over the years. They aren't offensive, they rarely contain content that is seen as vulgar but American standards. From my point of view it's entirely YouTube being more stingy with their money.

Here’s a story: I’ve literally grown up on YouTube and social media and have personally interacted with some famous social media celebrities before they were famous (and in some cases, witnessed their rise AND fall *ahem*). I actually considered YouTube as a full time career but with “demonetization” and the evolving legal conditions of YouTube, I’m so glad I didn’t. I say that with sympathy towards my favorite youtubers who aren’t getting what they deserve. You’re at the mercy of the YouTube rules which really restrict your creative freedoms and to make enough to live off it is virtually impossible now.

i never did make money from my channel unfortunately, too many demonetization, and now i next to never get monetized, but i still will keep doing my compilations and monthly videos for kpop of each month, because this is a passion and i want to share it, even if i don't profit from it, i have a job and im supporting myself, so its okay i don't mind not gaining anything material-wise from my channel, cause to me what im gaining is love for my own videos and my own work, and even if its just a little helping people learn of different and new artist that comeback and debut. I really hope people who make a living from YouTube videos are able to keep doing the job they love, even though they might have to change the game up a bit.

YouTube should be a thing someone does on the side, especially for those making videos reacting/compiling something. You don't need to be monetized to keep making videos. And these compilation videos won't go away completely, certain creators will just stop doing them, leading the way for other people to start making them.

I usually don't comment on videos but I just wanted to write my opinion. I honestly watch compilations videos way more than reaction videos. I really like being able to find new underrated artists and groups that not many reactors make videos about. Heck, I got into kpop watching a summer playlist compilations video back in 2012. I don't know what will happen now but I just want you and other YouTubers who make similar content to know that I will support you guys no matter what happens.

Kpop saved my life BTS saved me from ending my life by seeing the MV Not Today in my recommendations a couple days after my grandpa died which was thr 3rd person to die in my family a few months apart so BTS literally saved me. So I will never say goodbye to them and other KPOP groups sorry. I didn't know about compilations until a year ago?

It's madning how copyright is destroying the internet and thongs off the internet in the past two years (but especially this year). I really hope those people high up there will realize what benefit it actually is to have people promoting their stuff without hurting them… I just hope article 13 will not come as that will make this whole thing even more impossible… and it will not just impact Europe

Not gonna lie I don't like when reactors suddenly be like REACTING TO KPOP FOR THE FIRST TIME and they get lots of views and then change their channel from doing make up or from games or from refactoring to something else and then become a KPOP reactor and they only react to POPULAR groups. It disgust me… And KPOP is being used in so many wrong ways… Yet reactors only care to get famous and money. You get those people who be like… I have love for only one group and boom we all know who… It's obvious it's gonna be a popular group. I am just angry about hoe new people treat KPOP but some new people treat KPOP okay and actually like other groups.

This dude is speaking facts right here when I got into k pop all I knew was BTS and Blackpink then I just happened to come across a top 60 countdown from kville I watched it subscribed to them and the rest is history I have over 200 K-pop songs on a playlist on my phone from the well known groups to the lesser ones and if it weren't for these types of channels I would've never been as exposed to kpop as I am now so thank you guys for that as a kpop fan I'm extremely grateful ?❤️
