You have got to be fucking joking. You didn’t include ‘Triangle’??!!
You want a complex movie? Look at Riverworld.
The anime movie "End of Evangelion" is a serious mind trip.
Does anybody understand The Godfather 3?
Ok, I caught up. I have a crush on her now.
Primer sounds like Stewie using his time machine.
Not in the same vein of these but try explaining the plot of the big lebowski and not gettting confused.
I don't think the fountain is a story of 3 lifetimes just the doctor telling 2 other stories so his wife will live on in them.
I always thought 2001 was pretty straight forward and obvious when I would watch it once a week during my middle school years. It's innovated, precise and experimental film style makes it seem more than.
I found predestination by accident and it was a great watch. I like it
1:16 Coherence
2:25 Predestination
3:27 Cloud Atlas
4:32 The fountain
5:30 2001: A Space Odyssey
6:30 Upstream color
7:40 Synecdoche, New York
8:37 Primer
ASHLEIGH MILLMAN , MARRY ME ALREADY !!
The original butterfly effect with Ashton kutcher. That was great and most no one understood the ending on first watch
Predestination was an amazing film! It’s 60s sci-fi so the acid trip aspect is high. However a must see for everyone.
i really liked donnie darko
What a fucked up useless video …
murder by death, the end doesn't make sense with Sam Diamond :)))
Just noticed someones already said my films.
Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway. Still don't have a clue what they're about.
Inland Empire!
What? No "Inception"?
Coherence is one of my favorite movies. I re-watch it every few months.
☹️ I’ve only seen #8 & #7
Great list. Thanks, Ash ?
ANY David Lynch's movies could (and should) have made this list: Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead, or Lost Highway.
Kubrick was not flying solo.
With him was aerospace engineer and avid fiction writer Arthur.C.Clarke, who not only wrote the novelization but the short story it was originally based on. (Also see: Radiant Doors, the inspiration behind South Park 'Goobacks' and The Story of Your Life, the inspiration for 'The Arrival')
Donnie Darko, and Mr Nobody should have made the list. I love both those movies!
David lynch's Mulholland Dr was very strange. That movie creeped me out.
Predestination is only 7?
What happened to any of the David Lynch films???
Predestination is such an unknown treasure. That movie has my heart. You could make and entire list with just Nolan, Kubrick, Lynch and Aronofsky ?
Anyone else have a crush on Ash? I know I'm not the only one.
+1 needs to be on this list
Pi – Nuff Said
Ash you rule , not many people have seen Primer.
In the first place it should be Stalker (1979).
Under the skin and Enemy are more complex than 1/2 of these.
"You ever saw that scene in Scanners, where the dude's head blows up?"
No one thought of Naked Lunch? THAT is a messed up movie
Am I the only one who had no difficulty following Cloud Atlas? Probably why I enjoyed it.
Primer made me research things that's not my area.
There are a few films on this list that I've never heard about, so thanks for the heads-up.
2001 is one of the very best and most important sci-fi movies ever made. The final act, though, is almost impossible to figure out if you haven't read the book.
Triangle is a really great minding bending indie horror/thriller, still thinking about it years after watching it.
