I feel like saying Nas had only one extraordinary album which is Illmatic is fair, but Cole's albums are all of the same quality, they just offer something new amongst each other.

Nas was trend hopping?? Post reasonable doubt?? So much wrong with this. First of all nas helped usher in the mafioso rap style back in 95 along with Rae and Ghost but their main influence came from G. Rap. If anything Hov is the King of trend hopping. Dude was rapping like fushickens before illmatic came out. RD wasnt no innovative album. Also IAM aged very well compared to the garbage that's been out the last 8 plus years. Nas is in alot of people's top 5 due to his body of work. Nas got most of his fans from IWW and most went back and listened to illmatic. Nas is a GOAT contender for a reason.
JCOLE is a dollar store Nas/Tupac. Dude has no classic albums and is a bit boring on the mic. Very overrated.
