I’d say the first 3 seasons of The West Wing is the most rewatchable TV drama ever made.
I wish I was at that table read where Mrs. Landingham died.
Dule is and will always be a snack.
One of the best shows of all time!! For me it's #2 right behind The Wire..
I’m so shallow but Dule Hill is so handsome.
This is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched and it made me appreciate how elegant American politics and government could be. This was just a show, but what we are going through now with this circus of an administration, it feels beyond fiction.
But West Wing is a refuge. I watch it over and over again hoping that people in government will once again, hopefully soon, come in service with a sense of duty and not for self indulgence or just to play political games.
Rob low has really aged, I hardly recognised him.
Loved the show, still watch it online.
I met Joshua Malina almost 20 years ago at a casino (I believe The palm) in Las Vegas. He was there shooting "Celebrity Poker Showdown" for charity. He was the producer I think. He was the warmest most kind gentleman. I was just some nobody who happened to recognize him and his friend Timothy Busfield that day. They treated me like a VIP and invited me to the taping of the show. It was a great experience. I'm sure he has no memory of this but it's still fresh in my mind. Just wanted to tell this story because he is the type of person that treats a complete stranger/nobody with so much kindness and respect. It tells a lot about the character of the person.
For real who did the audio recording for this whole day? They need to be fired
Josh should have hooked with with Joey Lucas!
Dule' did a great job for Charlie….the character was like the presidents adopted son
I fell soo hard for this show the first season. There was much to recommend and it was really well done. The show and it's broad reaching effects (is it affects?) are good reasons to deny the broad paintbrush used to white-wash people who go into politics. This is what we hope for in the White House. This is the erudition, the intelligence and sensitivity we all wish existed in government at every level.
Along with Parks And Rec, we might just have some sterling examples of how things should be these days.
Absolutely brilliant! ?
Can’t wait for the special. I fucking NEED this in my life.
I missed this show.
Holy crap, the carving knife scene…still gets me every time.
I really miss this show, it was a highlight of each week when a new ep showed.
As someone who does not watch TV, I must confess I have not seen West Wing as it played weekly. With the current state of the US political affairs, I thought the show could offer a little insight and a refresher course of the workings of our government, along with offering a little entertainment . I must say I was taken aback, the show was more than I could have ask for. It was rich in content, writing was like a master piece along with character development. It was an amazing show, I binged watched, just completed the series, and now, next day started once again at Season1, Episode 1. Thank you for the work you do!!! PS John Spencer was my favorite character, but loved you all….way to go Donna…there til the end!!!!
Yo Yo Ma rules!
Whoever set up lighting on these interview sites are probably republicans.
Some wise people say that killing Trump is a form of self-defense if you believe him being alive will result in your death. Would that be a tragedy?
It is truly amazing the INTERNATIONAL impact The West Wing had.
Amazing show I love ? hearing these stories ?
Love Aaron Sorkin!
❤???????
So lovely to see Marlee in this!
Can someone get Aaron to just give us a table reading of these characters one more time
Although it would be difficult, I’d love to see a new West Wing series. New characters, modern mix. However I don’t think it would work. Too much drama in real life. Maybe an Aaron Sorkin show about lobbyist? Or just a general DC political show? Wait, a Federal Court judges show with an emphasis on politics.
been listening to the West Wing podcast, it's great
'It was so nice I got no maternity leave!'
LOL, but seriously, this was all very cool
I will never forgive Aaron Sorkin for the death of Mrs. Landingham.
DONNNNNAAAAA
It’s just not the same without Kenny’s voice interpreting.
About time this was on blu ray with these as the extras hours of west wing watching. One of the best shows ever, R.I.P Leo, John Spence.
Loved This Show…and I still go back and watch the complete series at least once a year on my DVD's….like seeing Family Again! Cheers To All
0:55 “He gave him the knife!”
Wow, Marlee Matlin has not aged a single day
