can remember this song like it was 5 seconds ago. me and my first love Linda Gilbert, in my british racing green MG midget…driving thru ocean city, NJ with top down of course and listeing to sly and the family. the absolute best of times. nobody driving like idiots…no rioters throwing chairs thru windows…no fear of car-jackings. my little MG am radio would pick this up all night long coming out of WABC in NYC. think it was 77 on the AM dia.
How come Sly Stone couldn't have written this to go on fifteen minutes, huh? More!
