If I might: the time and effort you will spend reading Varney might be better used to plow through Hodgson’s The Night Land. Or perhaps Williamson’s A Chronicle of Ancient Sunlight. Or the thousands of undeciphered cuneiform tablets in museum vaults around the world. Or all these appliance manuals under my kitchen sink. Although, now that I’ve said that, I’m no longer completely certain. Is it, however, entirely likely that too much Varney causes damage to your neocortex. Beware!
Ah the return of Varney I have to say I've been looking forward to more chapters and after reading an earlier comment it looks like there will be a few more. As always brilliantly read and a total pleasure to listen to, as ever stay safe my friend.

I own a copy and have read this story, and it's one of my favourite vampire tales. I believe it was originally published in weekly parts, and the issues were called "penny dreadfuls".
It's a weighty tome in its complete form, and I do believe you'll be entertaining us for quite some time if you intend to perform it all!!!
