What’s your favorite way to work out your popping technique? Could be a song, an exercise… or just your coping strategy for the constant blisters. ?

just suggestion, subtitles get in the way of the tabs and notes in the video – for me it's fine I understand English – but this can impede followers who rely on subs to translate your instruction. Perhaps an adjustment in future videos. I ain't mad atcha tho 😛

Before I changed my technique, I was perfectly capable of playing all the flea and victor wooten stuff, but my knuckles would hurt so bad after a few days.

If you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly.

Great choice of song ..it introduces right hand muting completely under the radar as it's a consequence of that teeter-totter thing.. I never got it before. Thankyou!

in this video i learned that my natural, most comfortable slap technique is similar to flea's

      that feels good.

I feel like I need an anchor with my thumb somewhere when I pop.
I found that I can get the slap sound going through the E string and almost resting it on the A string. But according to what I see in this and in the slap video it's not supposed to be like that.

1:16 when you compare thumbs up bass players vs thumbs down, you can clearly see thumbs down is for noobs.
