good ol 86 when you could pay someone 10 bucks to try and kill someone at your work
I hope they remake this
Every time I see Wilford Brimley in a show, my mind automatically thinks of the diabetes (or "dia-bee-tus" as he called it) products that he advertised on television ?.
Saw this movie when I was a kid. Forgot the plot and title, but never the training and bullet-dodging. Gosh, it's good to see it again!
EASTER EGG! If you watch the movie JAKE SPEED. The grandpa, also played by Wilford Brimley, says the heroes needed are either Jake Speed, REMO WILLIAMS, or Mack Bowlan. This is a tri-quel and cross-over before they ever existed. A great movie, wonderfully acted, and heart felt. Though Chiun was played by a white guy and pretty stereotypical, the movie still holds up through it's action sequences and scripting. Recommend 8/10.
Perfect movie to watch for free on YouTube. You can enjoy scenes of effective humor and heart in the interactions between Remo and Chiun (problematic though Joel Grey's casting may be, he creates a vivid character), some excellent stunt work, and a group of really intelligent and persistent dogs; while not worrying about having spent any amount or having gone out or your way for such a haphazard, illogical story which clearly shows signs of studio meddling (in one way or another).
I’ve been trying to remember the name of this movie for years. This was one of my favorite movies growing up as a kid. I really been trying to search for years just to see the walking on water scene!
This is a racist movie, against white people.
WHERE are you Remo Williams?????
Your Country needs you!

I awoke with this movie already playing. Somehow auto play was on. Seems like a good action movie from the 80's.
If his survival were portrayed as being due to his talents as taught by Chiun, thus movie may have seen a sequel…
…but instead it was a one (not even a) hit wonder.
Too bad.
I enjoyed watching that again. Poor Kate, (Maj. Fleming) being called "skinny" because she was not a typical "movie babe" LOL. I think the main reason it did not do well was because it was released the same time as some summer blockbusters.
This is a awesome movie. ??
Statue of Liberty stunt scene at 1:06 was awesome. Forgot the the big lady was undergoing renovation for real in 1986. David Lee Roth had a song about that. Yankee Rose. Great times!
Arooh arawooo duh
Good movie, but why couldn't they just get an Asian man to play 'Chun….?
I won him, he's mine…
Ohhh…..Capt. Janeway…
This is the best '80s movie I've never seen before! And I've seen a lot of 'em.
I remember seeing it back in '85 when it came out. Fun movie..Now-a-days they'd be screaming "cultural appropriation!!!" and burn the cities down..
Craig Safan …. the same composer who scored "The Last Starfighter"
A sequel would have been welcome but the doofus critics pan the movie and we all know if a critic pans a movie then it has to be a really good movie
Awesome movie It' been a long time since I watched it and was still amused.
Always liked Fred Ward.
