Why did the intro sound higher pitched and faster?
Dude literally starts the track off saying “I’ve been drinking and smoking too much, that shit damages” and melon be like “hmm wonder what that song was about”
I don’t know if y’all notice, but when 2D comes in and the drums really kick in, the comes in on the off beats, it’s literally like a change in perspective and I love it

Eh, the more I listen to it, the more I think this one's not for me.
The instrumental is great – it's nice to hear Gorillaz's dub and reggae influences coming back – but Octavian's feature spoils it. I'm not saying he's crap or anything – in themselves, his verses were just pretty meh.
Instead, the problem with choosing Octavian is that he clearly still has a long way to go in developing and refining his sound. In general, it seems an odd choice for Gorillaz to feature someone so new in their career.
