Sorry for the audio and video occasionally going slightly out of sync and for the skip at 13:15. I had a lot of problems converting, editing, and uploading this video for some reason. This is the best that I could do given the circumstances. Anyways, hope you all enjoy it!
God knows how often me and my brother watched this rockumentary on VHS back in the ninetees. You didn´t have internet then and to order a particular record, you had to go to the record store + you had those little DIN A 5 booklets that were sent by post to your home (you could order T-shirts,posters etc).I remember "Physical Graffiti" cost 60 German Mark! Somehow I miss those times…I miss my brother too….
I spent my teenage years chasing the KNEBWORTH concert on VHS ?
All eyes on Robert. He is perfection.
Robert rocking his '80's 'do….I LOVE HIM!!
Le plus charismatique des chanteurs de rock ❤️❤️❤️
Classic.
I'm 60 and I've been collecting music since 1976 and LZ were such a fav that I even bought an Ibanez twin neck and an Ibanez Les Paul copy in the late 70's! But I also loved all the metal bands of the era but to me LZ stand out and always will. No one had the depth and breadth of their material. There's so many haters and lovers of James Patrick Page but his broad and deep understanding really lifted the band above the rest. He was a session muso before the Yardbirds and LZ so he has a really good sense of orchestration and production. He's also an amazing acoustic guitar player. These things led to many of their songs being really hard to play live. Listen to Ten Years Gone, there's so many layers there it's like classical music and it's so hard to play all the parts live. It wasn't that Page was sloppy but how do you play 4 guitar parts at once! He's my fav guitar player for sure. Yes there' plenty of guitar gods that can out shred him (like that's even a thing) but their stuff is also boring, not the Zeps, their stuff is really engaging and rich.
Kurt Loder is a chode.
I remember watching this when it came out in 1990. Hair bands(gag) were at their peak and zeppelin was my favorite band. They still are. This was when traveling riverside blues was released to the public and we got to hear Plant in all his 1969 power. It was right before the seattle bands would start breaking out and music would be saved for a bit.
Got an ad for Beyonce's album when I clicked on this…. youtube need to improve their targeted marketing?
Greatest band ever, there's not even a close second.
I watched this when I was 13 in 1990 remember this feel so young
I was fortunate enough that my older sister was dating a dj at the UM when they had there own radio station. First concert was Jethro Tull in 72 by the time LZ came to Tampa in 75 I was a bonified Led Head vs a complete Zeppelin enthusiast during the 77 show which ended up in a riot as that was the TBays new football stadium built for 75k football fans. Funny that they conveniently had 5-7 thousand riot police with complete gear including face shields and pepper spray quite the experience shame that the concert lasted only 6-8 songs real shame. I did c Page and Plant twice and Page / Crowes
, Coverdale Page. Plant in Band of Joy and Jason with Clapton playing Yardbirds songs during a year they both were playing at Hard Rock Hotel and it was Bonzos B-day and they played at least the top 3/4 songs off all 10 albums really cool almost 15 years ago
Robert Plant you sexy edible Rock god !
The greatest Rock and Roll band to ever exist!!
Jimmy is the one I’d LOVE to meet.
Bonzo was right up there with Buddy Rich and Gene Kruppa.
I don't have words…
Hey, when MTV was MTV.
THE BEST BAND IN THE HISTORY OF ROCK MUSIC OR HELL MUSIC PERIOD ✊?
Robert was a well built machine, 21 there.
DUUUDDEEE JPJ’s hair?!?! PERFECTION
Definitely one of the greatest bands. You can tell Jimmy was messed up in this interview. When did he get sober?
I guess Page is better to see with a telecaster. Legends!
Robert Plant was SO feminine! I'm a lesbian and I'm finding him very attractive! He's so prissy, I love it! Are we SURE he was not bisexual? I'm 52, have been out for 37 years and have never attracted to men, except 2 in my teens. What is happening??? This is freaking me out, LOL I LOVE how he's such a gender bender! <3
This is Rock & Roll. They're the 4 horsemen
