In my country, Italy, they shut down at least 5 or 6 years ago. It had become a totally different channel, it was all about reality shows, zero music.
Now I want to be honest, I miss the 90's Mtv. Discovered a lot of music, recorded a lot of video on vhs… I will never forget the first time I heard RATM or Nirvana, the first [and probably the last, time they aired Refused's New Noise. Or the night I heard My bloody Valentine.
I came from a small village, my older brother was into italodisco and club music: my parents weren't interested in music in any way. My friends listened to horrible pop Music. I couldn't spent money in CDS… Mtv was the only way to listen to music, alternative rock, grunge, the berkeley punk scene…

This song was years ahead of its time. Unfortunately for the band, (to tweak the famous saying) the prophet is without honor in their own time. I would like to get Jello's opinion on the current music scene, since it's painfully obvious that we've got a bigger problem now.
