It's funny how #Vlad was trying to argue with #KillerMike about his fellow rappers, frequent collaborators, mentors, former "group" members #Outkast about #Andre3000 releasing a solo album. That was wrong in more than 1 way but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Technically and legally , #TheLoveBelow album is packaged as a group album and would not classify as a PROPER solo album, although naturally it's a "solo" album.
It depends what "influential" means and to whom it means. For example, just because Tupac was a fan of Cowboy from Furious Five doesn't mean Cowboy is more influential. And let's be real, whether in Hip Hop or Pop Culture as a whole, when you mention "OutKast", 90% of the people think of Andre 3000 first, whether you think he's better than Big Boi or not. Pretty good list though. In terms of south though, Ya'll So Stupid >
the problem that many will have with this list is that they OVERLOOK "most influential" and will read it as "best". You can't name 5 MC's in the South better than Killer Mike and you'd be hard pressed to find 5 in the game now that are better than Mike. I CAN, think of rappers who have had a greater influence…….but that's not saying much for some of them as their careers and influence were produced and driven by the "machine".
JT Money.
The Wizard
SCARFACE is KING of REALITY RAP MUSIC PERIOD
8ball lost was ?
Luke should be number 1. Unless I misunderstood the word influential. If it is best then face all day every day.
Tommy Wright iii
nobody fucks with scarface
I know Skinny Pimp & think I heard of JT Money.
