if u put the songs name in order from release dates you get "Some Nights We Are Young, Carry On". Why do i feel like this was a lie and they just wanted to show us that people need to move on and this was their plan this entire time.
Can you do the Goo Goo Dolls next
sometimes it’s not about the quantity it’s about the quality.
It wasn’t all Nate’s fault that the band ended. Jack was working with the Bleachers while Fun. was still together, and even released a song with the Bleachers as well. So while it may have been Nate who made the ultimate decision to have Fun. go on their hiatus, it wasn’t just because of his ego. He was upset that Jack was working with another band. Nate wanted Fun. to be everyone’s focus, and it simply wasn’t Jack’s.
In my humble opinion, Nate's greatest albums have to be Dog Problems as first; Interventions and Lullabies second; Aim and Ignite third; Some Nights fourth; and B-sides and Rarities fifth. Sadly, it's the writers that make the music good, his voice just perfects it. He was never a fantastic songwriter, as shown with Grand Romantic, but had fantastic vocalizations.
To this day, the song "Some Nights" is one of the best songs of the 2010s. It is such a bop that many kids who grew up with the song can still identify with now
FUN ended because they were not fun.
I guess they stopped being FUN
'remembering this band.. Sad as it end too son…
Why does Nate kind of look like a younger John censoring in the Music videos
Or is it just Me
If you’re reading this comment listen to aim and ignite, it’s real good
fun did not break up bc nate wanted to go solo ? do better research pls, u shouldnt be spreading misinformation like this.
They just weren’t having anymore fun.
yk what makes my heart happy? the format got back together:)
Every time I used to go to the yearly fair as a kid, "We Are Young" would play. And on the way back also, I don't know why LOL. Miss those days.
The 2nd song I ever remember loving was some nights. That was my song
Damn some nights is an album I’ve never stopped listening to since it came out. When I was younger I’d play it every night while I was sleeping and now many years later I’m here listening to it whenever I’m driving around on my learners license.
Nate Russ is absolutely a second version of Axl Rose .
"Some nights, I stay up cashing in my bad luck"
Every song on the album was great
It says on their website they aren't broken up, a new post was made last feb 4 http://ournameisfun.com/
i still miss them
I miss "fun" so much 2020
THIS BETTER NOT HAPPEN TO AJR
The song Some Nights and We Are Young has been in my head ever since I was young, back then I didn't where the song came from, until I decided to listen to old music in YT and met Fun.
It’s a shame that they stopped they showed great power and energy in their songs
Because it isn't fun anymore. Easy.
Wait, I never thought Jack Antonoff was part of Fun. hahaha I just knew it today.
