My room becomes the sea
And I become a mermaid
And in this ocean
I drown in multitudes of dream
Of waves crashing
As I swim along the impact
Oxygen turned into bubbles
And my skin turned into scales
I see corals instead of my bed
And I lay my back upon their edges
My hair floats and floats and floats
And how beautiful something can be
when it defies gravity
I let the seaweeds embrace my body
Stop the shallows from taking me
Oh, how powerful depths can be
That even sunlight could not claim it
I have made a home inside this vastness
That I could get lost and still feel safe
My tears turned into saltwater
Hollowed chest filled with liquid
And nothing can break me anymore
The song was so good that I wrote a poem in the middle of my online class. And I know it’s not that good. Didn’t really thought about it that much. I just let the beat dictate me what to write. I just listened and listened and then I finished the poem for just minutes. This really makes you feel something.
This hit me so hard I cried, it reminded me of my dead cat…. ??

What happens when the fish leaves, or dies? Does it turn dark again?
Will the other fish remember and cherish the good times they had, and the light and music, or will they curse the fish for what they think is taking the light, the music, the happiness away? Will any of them praise the lord for that wonderful gift?
Will some go about dancing in the dark, or will some mutter to themselves in a secluded corner, about how nothing lasts for long, and that it's useless to chase happiness and prolong it?
Will those fish ever learn to appreciate the time that they had, instead of cursing it disappearance, and be content?
I sometimes think about people this way, and it keeps me up at night sometimes, listening to stuff like this. And then I start thinking about myself.

I'm new to the ocean, and everything looked scary and dark. I swim away from what looks like a shark and run into a forest of coral. I see you as you silently float at the bottom of the ocean, seeming to listen to a song that only you could hear. You notice me, just a little fish, and smile. You motion for me to come over to you. With a confused face, I swim over to you. As I reach you I start to hear the music. Starting as a little beat, but eventually growing more and more until it was a song. I swam around you, happily listening as you bobbed your head up and down to the music. It seemed as though the oceane was a shade lighter, the coral more vibrant, and not as scary as before. The music gets louder, and you get up from your spot to grab my fins and spin me around in the bubbles. I look at you as you laugh, beautiful in the luminescent glow that came from all around us. But, as all things do, the song ends. We say our goodbyes and even though the music is over, I see the world in a new perspective. I swim away, off to find a home while humming the tune, carrying it along to other fish I met.

I met a girl once who was my sleepy fish. She drew out of me all the pretty things that were hidden inside from even myself. She was all sunshine and cuddles despite all the loss and loneliness she endured herself. We played in the rain together once. I believed in her the same way all the sea creatures believe in Sleepy Fish – not only because I can see her glow, but because by it I can see everything else.
even after almost a year, this is still my most favorite lofi mix of all
for all of you that still listen to this track and still want more atmospheric music in this track look up this channel called “Calmed by Nature.” Now I only recommend this if your listening on a laptop or computer.
