Tech N9ne is one of three the most skillful MC's ever with Busta Rhymes and Eminem. Tech N9ne has more success as an independent artist, than most of artists, which are not. Tech N9ne created Strange Music label, which gave support for such wonderful artists, as Krizz Kaliko, Stevie Stone, Rittz, Ces Cru, Kutt Calhoun and lots of others. Tech N9ne is a technical icon for years. And you tell me he's not the GOAT? Yeah, right)

      Two variables:

      Skill: I.e Tech 9ine
      &
      Transcendence: I.e Drake

Bad | Average | Good | Great | Top tier

To be the ‘greatest’ you’d have to be considered considerably well versed in both skill and transcendence; if your a transcendent rapper but your skill isn’t considered (atleast in some respect) up to par with the most skillful (I.e Drake) then you cannot be the greatest and if your a ‘skillful’ rapper but your music doesn’t transcend (atleast) relatively to the most transcendent then you also cannot be considered the greatest rapper of all time (I.e Rakim), whilst popularity can be biased it does show you what music is desired most and that should tell you something; if the audience don’t know who you are it can often mean they haven’t heard of you yet or have heard of you and you didn’t catch their ears for them to care to remember. It may also mean you cater to a very specific audience which is precisely not what ‘transcending’ means.

Both these things are skills that can be honed and those who are considered some of the ‘greatest’ as you will see if you look have both: for example the likes of Jay Z, Biggie, 2 Pac or Kendrick Lamar, it then becomes a question of “who between them is the greatest”. This is determined by ‘consistency, longevity and impact’; who has been doing this most consistently across their careers i.e bodies of work (and verses in general) and how impactful their music has been.

Lyricism, Flow, Content, Instrumentals, Structure, Delivery, Wordplay, Punchlines, Alliteration, Storytelling, Rhymes, Message, Compassion, Heart, Philosophy, Outspoken …
are things that determine a great rapper.

I'm not going to pretend that Tech N9ne has the most meaningful or poetic music. But he is still my current favorite rap artist. When I listen to his music, I get super pumped up and feel I can do anything. Listen to his music when running is fantastic. His flow is fantastic. He is fast. Some people say all of his songs are great. I wont agree with that.
I've listened to most of his stuff and I've picked my favorites and I play them on repeat, because they're just that good!

Tech is honestly the busiest and most motivated rapper I think I’ve ever seen. It’s so hard to keep up with him. Studio albums. Collaboration albums. Mixtapes. He’s always working on the next thing. And people don’t know about him because he’s independent. He’s also very different.

Tech N9ne is one of the G.O.A.T.S. though, his achievements and accomplishments are out of this world and are insane, first of all the amount of albums and projects that he has produced and released is insane, he has 13 Solo albums, 14 if you count Enterfear, which is about to release, he has 8 Collabos albums, he has 3 Compilations albums, he has 6 EP's, 1 Mixtape, and 4 Documentaries, which is an insane amount of music released, and video production, He's the biggest independent artist in the world, he used to do 200-250 shows per year for many years straight, and some other years he would do 100 shows and more, which is probably more than most rappers, name another rapper that does that many shows, with that fact with the music and amount of shows, it probably makes Tech N9ne the hardest working rapper on the planet. He's been on Forbes list for many years straight all independently, even Snoop Dogg came to Strangeland Headquarters and made a joke to the bank saying he was Tech N9ne or something like that, asking for money lmao that just shows you how much money Tech N9ne has made and how hard he works, Tech N9ne has multiple songs with Kendrick Lamar, multiple songs with Lil Wayne, has multiple songs with T-Pain, has multiple songs with B.O.B, has a song with T.I., has a song with Eminem, has a song with Royce Da 5'9, he even has a song with 2pac, how many rappers can you name today or in this current era that has a song with 2pac? Tech N9ne has a song with Logic and Joyner Lucas, he has a label that introduces crazy and ill ass MC's and artists, like CES Cru, King ISO, Prozak, Mayday!, MURS, Krizz Kaliko, Rittz, Kutt Calhoun, Jay Rock, Maez301, JL of B. Hood or also just known as JL, Joey Cool, Darrein Safron, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if he has the most songs released to date, hence I said released, now Lil Wayne might be close to Tech N9ne's numbers in terms of songs released, but the only difference and the major difference is is that, all of Tech N9ne's songs are his own and original, Lil Wayne's Dedication series are a lot of beats and remixes off of old songs. The impact and amount of work and music he has released is intangible, insane, and astounding, incredible, profound, Tech N9ne is and always will be a Living Legend and Hip Hop Monger, and he is only continuing, he just keeps making music, which will eventually make him even more of the G.O.A.T. that he already is, that level would just be increasing making him even greater!
