The same exact whooping, melodic sequence has been showing up in a surprisingly high number of recent pop songs. This musical phrase is everywhere.

Crap crap and more crap. Whoops, whistling and ukuleles. Software voice alterations. Dumb songs with dumber lyrics. Singers and songs that have nothing to say. Sign of the times.

Oh, one more thing, whoever invented autotuners ought to be bitchslapped violently and have their faces rubbed in shit.

What passes for "music" nowadays is actually just shit. (Except for the metal m/) But bubblegum pop was always shit, as far back as there has been recorded music. Commercial crap is just commercial crap, meaningless drivel, and gratuitous glitz. Commercial jingles… That's why I stopped listening to FM radio, and why I stopped watching commercial television, because I don't like commercial crap. If the current trend of unlistenable generic overdubbed background music on every other goddamn video doesn't stop real soon, I won't be watching the YouTube anymore either.

I've been saying since the mid-90's, music has died. I was simply a few years before the times finally threw in the towel, too.
