Very classy and cool. Great! We have their albums and I just came upon this video of "Day By Day" I sure hope these guys are back together so we can see them sometime in the US or anywhere!
In an Ethiopian restaurant (Addis Ababa) in London, Ontario around 2003, I remarked to the owner how nice the Sade music was. She said, no,that's Bet.e & Stef! I got home and ordered 2 or 3 of their CDs from Amazon. I was not disappointed. The following spring I won a pair of tickets to see Bet.e at the Metropolis in Montreal, the same time as the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix weekend. What a weekend! Unfortunately, Stef had recently parted ways with Bet.e, but the show was amazing. Fortunately, Stef has reunited with Bet.e, and I couldn't be happier! The Brazilian bossa nova songs are the best ones, along with some of their original material.
So good!
Their music gets into me so deep it can rearrange my DNA!
