I'm a from the UK and I have been a fan of hip hop for 30 years
And I have never even heard a song by lord Jamar or his group
I only know of him now because of his appearance on vlad TV,
Of course I remember mc's like big daddy, krs one, public enemy
Nwa and many more but I never knew lord Jamar even existed so I guess he was one of those who had very little impact on the game for me to not know of him for 30 years .
