This film was released during my junior year of high school. This film is the real thing, while ‘Til There Was You, released around the same time, is a ripoff. My mom has been a big fan of this film since its theatrical run. I first watched it on VHS back in 1998. Matthew Perry appeared in a film with his ‘Til There Was You counterpart in 1999, known as Three to Tango, and Salma Hayek followed suit a year later, known as Time Code. Three to Tango was made on a bigger budget than Time Code, which had a limited release.
Remember watching this as a little girl, wishing I lived in Vegas. Now I'm ten years…Vegas Strong!!!???

This movie is everything wrong with Hollywood in general. Typical narrative, white geeky guy gets the sell out Latina. Typical. White Knight to the rescue, whitewashed movie bs. From lump all Latino cultures together I flushed this crappy movie down the toilet where it belongs .Crappola
