Merry Christmas Old Heads! In this video we will take a look at the some of the best rap albums of 2020 (in my opinion). Which albums were your favorites this year? Which projects did I miss? Quick side note: With the Side B (Deluxe Edition) of EMINEM's new album we had 36 Music To Be Murdered By songs in total, enough for everybody to create their own MTBMB playlist/album mix. You can basically remove every song that you hate off the album and still have enough songs for a full project. EMINEM tries to please his 40 million fans by adding a large variety of songs (mainstream/Hip-Pop, deep, funny, serious, lyrical etc.) and I respect that. Some songs are not for me and I don't force myself to "like music" (you know me I'm an Old Head). Alfredo (which consists of 10 songs) would've been my #1 pick this year if Side B didn't came out. Freddie's album has less variety in terms of topics & concepts but better production than MTBMB (thanks to Alchemist). You can't put 2 albums at #1 so I basically picked the project with the highest amount of high quality songs off those albums. But everybody has their own formula and way of compiling lists. I'm an Eminem fan, and i would like to listen to other stuff from Rap and Hip-hop artists, but i listen to these bits of other albums from 2020 and i think they're so poor, so basic, so lame… They're worst than Eminem's worst albums. I don't want to be unfair with the artists but the songs played in this video are not that good… Sorry!

This year the allegory ,king's disease and music to be murdered by helped me a lot . Royce da 5 9 is underrated . He's a legend as per my opinion.

I’m gonna get crucified for saying this but for me Eminem’s stuff just went down hill in my head and to my ears after the Deluxe version of the Marshall Mathers LP 2. I feel Encore & Marshall Mathers were his peak.
Idk about the NAS album to me I didn’t enjoy it. It didn’t feel consistent it felt just like a weird experimental compilation from NAS. It felt unfinished.

RTJ4 was by far the best rap LP of the year. Other mentions to the new Logic, Lil Uzi Vert, Mac Miller, Pop Smoke, Kid Cudi, Playboi Carti, Polo G, Denzel Curry, Open Mike Eagle, Juice WRLD, NLE Choppa, and even fuckin' Gunna managed to come out with some good shit this year.
2020 was a great year. Lets keep moving forwards with this.
