So… the place that held the Trayus academy and saw the last battle of the Mandalorian wars was Malachor V, while the planet in Rebels is just Malachor. Maybe Malachor V is just the fifth moon of the planet Malachor, and if so, the history of Revan could be more similar.

The Sith mask looks very similar to the one from the Sith Acolyte armour set in SWTOR and its cinematics
Were there any Sith that were against masks because they thought it would cause C02 poisoning?
