DONT GET IT MISS INFORM BLONDI INTRUDUCED RAP MUSIC TO WHITE CORPORORATE PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT OUR RAP MUSIC IN THE 70s WAS JUNGLE MUSIC
Honestly this news man and the other reporters seemed to have a really positive attitude about rap. It’s almost like people were more tolerant and laid-back then than they are now
Who knew Deborah Harry was such an OG? Lol. The way she talked about rap back then you can tell she actually got it. Respect
Anyone rember the great rivals? Kool moe dee vs ll cool J. Roxanne Shante vs the real Roxanne.
Rakim was the linguistic master of the 80s rap

Rap was born out of Disco Music in the late 70s, now its the most dominant music on the radio. Rock music has largely vanished in mainstream pop music.
Back when Rap was fun. Now we have skittles 69, and Lil Pump LOL?
This is the "Reefer Madness" of the 80s.

In the 89s, I was in Music class in Elementary school and one of my classmates said he had a song to sing to the class. The teacher got excited and gave him permission. He started rapping and talking about Superman was a fairy and flying through the air in pantyhose and busting out with super sperm. Teacher eyes and got so big..she jumped up and took him out of the class so fast and I never saw him again after that. I didn’t understand why he was removed from the class until I became a teenager lol but that was my introduction to Rap and The Sugar Hill Gang (Rappers Delight)??
Great video. Man i miss the days when rap was fun, and about real life. When the only beef you heard was about Roxanne
This was when rap was good!
